About Us

Who we are

The name "MESH" was inspired by my dad’s architectural business, Mesh Architectural Services. But as I built my own career in clinical dietetics, the name took on a deeper meaning. Mesh represents structure, interconnection, and the seamless integration of different elements—which is exactly how I approach nutrition and health.

How is clinical nutrition different?

Nutrition in a clinical setting isn’t just about “eating well.” Managing conditions like liver disease, malnutrition, or post-surgical recovery requires a deep understanding of metabolic changes, nutrient absorption, disease progression, and how the body responds to illness and treatment.

At MESH Performance, we take a science-driven, real-world approach—combining clinical expertise with practical strategies that work in everyday life. Whether it’s:

  • Optimising nutrition for liver disease

  • Preventing muscle loss in chronic illness

  • Supporting recovery after major surgery

We make sure your nutrition is targeted, personalised, and clinically effective—because when your health is on the line, generic advice isn’t enough.

About me

Hi, I’m Bally, a specialist dietitian with extensive experience in clinical nutrition, particularly in liver disease, surgical recovery, and performance nutrition. My journey into dietetics wasn’t traditional, but it was shaped by a deep passion for helping people optimise their health through food and nutrition.

I have worked across specialist hepatology, oncology, cardiology, and surgical teams, providing evidence-based nutrition support for a range of complex medical conditions.

While my background is rooted in clinical science, my approach is always realistic, practical, and patient-centered. Whether it’s an athlete optimising performance, a liver transplant patient rebuilding strength, or someone navigating the challenges of chronic illness, I focus on evidence-based strategies that fit into real life—not rigid meal plans or unrealistic expectations.

I originally studied Sport and Exercise Science at Sheffield Hallam University, where I developed a strong foundation in physiology, metabolism, and high-performance nutrition. During my studies, I secured an internship with Sheffield United’s first team, working alongside medical staff to optimise athlete recovery and fuelling strategies. This experience reinforced my passion for practical, results-driven nutrition—not just in elite sport, but in clinical care as well.

I went on to complete a Master’s in Dietetics, specialising in the intersection of exercise, metabolism, and clinical nutrition. My work today reflects this blend—bridging the gap between high-performance nutrition and medical nutrition therapy, ensuring every patient gets tailored, effective, and scientifically grounded nutrition support.

I believe nutrition isn’t about strict rules—it’s about understanding what works for you, your body, and your health goals. Whether I’m supporting someone through surgery, liver disease, or performance nutrition, my aim is to provide clear, compassionate, and evidence-based guidance that empowers long-term change.

And because nutrition is about enjoyment too…
